Questions
What clients ask first.
Do we need a recorder or a server?
No. Verkada cameras store footage on the camera itself and are managed in the cloud, so there’s no server to maintain and nothing for an intruder to carry away.
Can we watch from our phones?
Yes. Any camera, live or recorded, from the Verkada app or a browser, wherever you are in the world.
What if the internet goes down?
The cameras keep recording to their onboard storage. When the connection returns, everything is available again, and with dual internet it rarely goes down at all.
Can you add cameras to a property we already have?
Yes. We survey what’s there, plan coverage, power and cabling, and install with as little disruption as possible.
